The 9ft Hazardous Goods Store is made from weathering steel, commonly called Corten, which forms a protective oxide layer when exposed to the elements. This reduces ongoing maintenance and supports a long life in outdoor installations. The unit is configured specifically for hazardous material containment, with a spill-containment sump built into the floor structure to provide secondary containment in line with standard industry practice and to capture potential leaks from stored containers.

Ventilation is provided through passive venting or optional mechanical components, managing airflow to help prevent hazardous fumes accumulating inside. Access is through full-height hinged doors with a factory-fitted lockbox; the doors open to give clear access to stored materials, and the locking system is designed to prevent unauthorised entry. External surfaces receive protective coatings suited to industrial storage equipment, and all welding and joints are completed during modification to preserve structural integrity.

Technical specifications: external dimensions (L x W x H) are approximately 2743 mm x 2230 mm x 2205 mm (9 ft x 7.3 ft x 7.2 ft), with internal dimensions of approximately 2592 mm x 2112 mm x 2378 mm, and a door opening (W x H) of approximately 2104 mm x 2278 mm.
