The 40ft container with three roll-up side doors is a modified take on the standard intermodal design. It is made from corten steel, a high-strength weathering alloy that develops a protective oxide layer outdoors, lowering maintenance and extending service life.

The three roll-up side doors mark a significant change from standard configurations. They roll up into the container ceiling to create unobstructed openings along the sidewalls, and each operates manually with spring-assisted mechanisms. Weather seals and locking systems keep them secure when closed.

Construction includes reinforced corner posts with ISO-standard corner castings, allowing standard lifting and securing using reach stackers, forklifts, and spreaders. The roof and sidewalls are corrugated steel panels welded to the frame.

Inside, a marine-grade plywood floor sits over steel cross members, treated for moisture resistance and built to carry distributed loads. There are no forklift pockets in the floor structure, so wheeled equipment requires ramp access.

The rear end carries double swing doors that open to roughly 270 degrees, fitted with anti-rack plates and locking bars with security seals. A door threshold plate protects the floor edge during loading. Ventilation comes from passive vents in the end panels, allowing air exchange while keeping water out. The interior is not insulated or climate-controlled.
