Can windows be added to the side?

Viewing windows are one of the options available at the build stage, along with decking and lighting. Specify them with your order rather than later, because cutting and sealing a steel wall after the pool is finished and on site is a much bigger job than building the opening in from the start.

Will a steel pool rust?

The shell is a marine-service container built from weathering steel and finished for pool duty, which is a far tougher starting point than most pool structures.
