Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most about buying, paying for, and receiving your shipping container — delivery, payment, returns, lead times and site prep.
What condition are your containers?
We offer both new and used units. New (One-Trip) containers have made a single ocean voyage and are in near-mint condition. Used (Cargo-Worthy / Wind & Water Tight) containers are inspected, structurally sound and graded watertight — a cost-effective choice for storage and site projects.
What sizes do you offer?
Our range spans 10ft, 20ft, 40ft, 45ft and 53ft containers, including High Cube units with an extra foot of interior height, plus specialty options such as refrigerated, double-door, open-side and fully modified containers.
How much does delivery cost?
We charge a flat $500 shipping fee per order for delivery to any of the 50 states — the same price regardless of container size, quantity, or distance. The fee is shown clearly in your cart and at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Most deliveries are scheduled within 5–10 business days after your payment clears, depending on your location and container availability. We confirm a delivery window with you by phone.
How do I pay?
You can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) or by bank transfer (ACH or wire). Card payments are processed on Stripe's secure hosted checkout, so your card number is never received or stored by us. If you choose bank transfer, you receive our bank details and a unique order reference on screen and by email, and your container is dispatched once payment clears.
What surface and access do I need for delivery?
A firm, level surface (gravel, concrete or compacted ground) works best. Our tilt-bed delivery truck needs clear, straight access of roughly three times the container's length to off-load safely. Tell us about tight access and we'll advise on options.
Do I need a permit?
Permit requirements vary by city and county. For permanent placements, check with your local zoning or building department. Temporary storage placements often don't require a permit, but confirming local rules is the customer's responsibility.
Can I modify a container?
Yes. We offer doors, windows, vents, electrical, insulation, shelving, partitions and full custom builds. Tell us about your project and we'll quote a modified unit.
How do I get a quote or place an order?
Add containers to your cart and check out to pay by card or bank transfer, or contact us for a custom quote. You can also call (440) 379-3940 and our team will help you choose the right unit.
